Our story started in 2001. Chef & owner Eula McDowell began preparing meals for a small group of people upon request in her hometown of Baltimore, MD, and creating meal kits with chosen ingredients that individuals could prepare themselves. After a few years of growing her following and non-stop catering, THE BIG BEAN THEORY was born!
This venture turned into a rolling hill of unstoppable beans... literally! Big Bean Theory was featured at major Baltimore Farmers' Markets throughout the city and county. In addition to farmers' markets, The Big Bean Theory has opened cafes at Owings Mills Mall, MT. Vernon Marketplace, on occasion, appeared at the R House Pop-Up and other hot spots in the Baltimore Metropolitan area.
